What do Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20, Cyndi Lauper, and Daryl Hall have in common? Lisa Bouchelle has sung backup for them all. And now she is stepping out on her own, with a new CD of acoustic pop that has garnered rave reviews. Her style has been compared to Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Jason Mraz, and KT Tunstall, among others.
Her new CD, 'Paint Your Dreams,' was just completed at Jon Bon Jovi's home studio. The CD includes contributions from musicians such as Shawn Pelton (his credits include Saturday Night Live, Sheryl Crow, Michelle Branch, etc.) and Bobby Bandiera (credits include Bon Jovi, Graham Parker, Cyndi Lauper, etc.), and guest vocals from Southside Johnny and Gary US Bonds.
Songs from Lisa's album are available from Starbucks Hear Music Media Bars in the Starbucks Hear Music Coffeehouses in select cities around the U.S.
'Paint Your Dreams' is now available on WetDuck/Cement Shoes Records, distributed by Fontana Distribution (A Division of the Universal Music Group). Lisa has been named a 'Top Pick For 2007' by Campus Activities Magazine, one of the top female voclaists in the world by Japan's Burrn! Magazine, and a 'Star Of The Future' by The Aquarian Weekly.
Lisa Bouchelle performs her brand new song, "Snapshots of St. Louis" for the first time ever at House of Blues Cleveland on 11.12.07 during her set opening for Blues Traveler.
