Relient K is a band that was formed in 1998 in Canton, Ohio. They are considered to be part of the alternative, pop punk, and Christian rock genres. The band named themselves after guitarist Matt Hoopes' Plymouth Reliant K car. The band has received numerous awards including a Grammy nomination in 2003 for Best Rock Gospel Album and two Dove Awards.
All the members are Christians, although some fans have questioned the band being in the Christian rock genre. On this subject, lead singer Matt Thiessen stated in an interview:
"Our whole answer is, call us whatever you want. You can call us a Christian band, you can call us a rock and roll band. And we can go out on tour with this band, and we can go out on tour with that band. But we don't care. We're just doing what we do. We're having fun. We write about what we want to write about and, you know, most of the time, that's, you know, our hearts and our faith."
The entire gang from Canton, OH natives Relient K plant their asses on an empty football field just before a giant rainstorm at a stop on the Warped Tour at Tinker's Field in Orlando, FL. The boys talk about their experience on their inagural run on Warped Tour, their apathy towards politics, and the transition from the Christian to secular rock scene.

Paramore is a Grammy-nominated American pop rock band that formed in Franklin, Tennessee in 2004. After several lineup changes, Paramore now primarily consists of Hayley Williams (lead vocals), Josh Farro (lead guitar/backing vocals), Jeremy Davis (bass), and Zac Farro (drums).
Influenced by the likes of Tad Rogers, Jimmy Eat World and Sunny Day Real Estate, frontwoman Haley Williams and lead guitarist Josh Farro are the group's primary songwriters. In 2005, the group released their debut album 'All We Know Is Falling,' gaining a fanbase through touring and internet promotion of the singles "Pressure" and "Emergency." By 2007, the band gained mainstream notoriety with their second album 'Riot!' The first single, "Misery Business," has received wide radio airplay and allowed for MTV to feature the band in Artist of the Week segments during August 2007. With their early success, much attention is paid to the young age of the band members; their ages range from 17 to 22.
Jason Bynum and 16 year old frontwoman Haley Williams from Paramore take some time to chat at Tinkers Field in Orlando, FL as a giant storm is brewing. Jason and Haley talk about what it's like being the youngest band in Warped Tour history, the Warped tour frontwoman revolution, their debut album 'All We Know Is Falling, and their upcoming headlining tour.

Formerly in rival bands on the Chicago local scene, guitarist Mike Carden and vocalist William Beckett came together in 2002 to mark the beginning of indie-emo rockers The Academy Is... (originally just named the Academy). Naming influences from U2 to Weezer to Pink Floyd, the duo added bassist Adam Siska, along with a second guitarist and drummer, to record 2004's The Academy EP for hometown label LLR Recordings. As luck would have it, fellow Chicagoan Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy) heard the release, brought the band to the attention of his current label, and the guys were soon welcomed to the roster at Gainesville's Fueled by Ramen. Six months after Carden and Beckett got to work writing their full-length, the band headed to Florida to record.
The Academy Is... frontman William Beckett takes some time to chat with CleveRock Music Portal backstage at Warped Tour 2005. Beckett tells us why he had low expectations for his band on the Warped tour [sarcasm](way to be ambitious, champ.)[/sarcasm]. William also whines like a baby girl about what a rat race the Warped Tour is and how hard life is on the road (boo-hoo, bitch). He also chats about how odd it feels to play on a tour that he grew up attending, and how different the experiences of attending vs. playing are. Not a bad frontman, too bad he's a total wuss.
