7.12.10 - Goo Goo Dolls' bassist Robby Takac phones CleveRock Music Portal's hotline for another edition of "Call Recording On." Robby chats about the Goo Goo Dolls' current tour, including his upcoming performance in Cleveland on Saturday, 7.17.10. Takac also talks about the Goo Goo Dolls upcoming release, 'Something for the Rest of Us,' due out on 8.31.10. We also chat about some other projects Robby is involved with, including Music Is Art (http://www.musicisart.org) and his record label, Good Charamel Records (http://www.goodcharamel.com). Robby also talks about how marketing music has changed since the band's inception in 1986 and what it takes to have staying power. Interested in a little insider information on the music business?
