Beastie Boys Tix Still Available

Beastie Boys Tickets Youngstown October 29th get out the vote Surprisingly, as of right now (end of the day Friday, 10.17) there are still PLENTY of tickets available for the Beastie Boys/Sheryl Crow/Ben Harper/Norah Jones show in Youngstown on 10.29. This is shocking, considering the limited capacity of the Chevrolet Centre and the bargain ticket price of $35.00. Tix can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets and online.

�Tumblin' Tix Reminder

Just a friendly public service announcement from your friends here at CleveRock Music Portal, who encourages everyone to support not just live music, but all entertainment that comes World Tour of Gymnastics Cleveland through town: Tour of Gymnastics Superstars lands in Cleveland on November 6th at The Q. The traveling tumblers include Olympic medalists Shawn Johnson, Nastia Luikin, Chellsie Memmel, Shannon Miller, and Paul Hamm among others. Routines will be performed to live music from Disney artists Jordan Pruitt and KSM. Tickets are priced from $29.50 up to $79.50 and are available at The Q box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, and online.

Intellectual Reminder

Male Intellect Second Coming Tickets Cleveland

Just a reminder that �Robert Dubac�s Male Intellect: Second Coming� opens at PlayhouseSquare�s 14th Street Theater tonight and has performances running through November 2nd. This is Dubac�s follow up to his hit show �The Male Intellect: An Oxy Moron?� When we last say �Bobby,� he had finally figured out what women want. So why has he returned? Well, he forgot. Fans of the first Male Intellect and newcomers alike will enjoy this hilarious one man show. �Tickets for Hinder/Trapt/Revelation Theory/Backbone on 12.20 go on sale tomorrow (10.17) at House of Blues box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, and online. Tix are priced at $29.50 for reserved balcony seats or $25 for general admission floor (standing room only).

Paul Fayrewether (11.29) tickets go on sale tomorrow (10.17) and can be snatched up at HOB�s box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, and online. Tix are priced at $20 for reserved balcony seats and $13.50 for standing room only floor.

Tix for Paul Wall�s December 7th show at Peabody�s go on sale today (10.16) at 10:00 AM. Tickets may be purchased in person at Peabody�s, all Ticketmaster outlets, and online. All tix are general admission and priced at $18.

Shwayze�s December 22nd gig at The Agora goes on sale tomorrow (10.17) at the Agora box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, and online. All tickets are standing room only and priced at $17.

Tickets for Lordi�s November 23rd show @ House of Blues go on sale tomorrow (10.17). Tix are priced at $17 and can be purchasd at House of Blues box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, and online.

High School Music on Ice taking place at Youngstown�s Chevrolet Centre January 2nd-4th has advanced tickets available for purchase this weekend using special code �TMDEAL� at checkout. Tickets are priced from $12-$42 and can be purchased here.

Stella

Comedic troop Stella will perform at House of Blues on 12.7. Featuring Michael Ian Black / Michael Showalter / David Wain. These guys are effin hilarious. No ticket information or details about the show have been released. As always, we�ll keep you posted.

Chinese Democracy Release Date & Track Listing

Oh sweet child of mine. A release date has been announced for �Chinese Democracy.� The album will drop exclusively Chinese Democracy Cover Art

at Best Buy stores and via Itunes on Monday, November 23rd, straying from the typical release day of Tuesday. Cover art (left) has also been posted on an inactive pre-order page at bestbuy.com. Of the fourteen songs announced to be on the album, eleven of them have either been played live or leaked over the decade+ it has taken to make this damn album. The only three unfamiliar tracks are "Scraped," "Sorry" and "Prostitute," while a song originally known as "The Blues" appears to have been renamed "Street of Dreams." Track listing is as follows:

More Youngstown Love

First Meatloaf, then Beastie Boys and friends, now�well, Youngstown now gets a lesser show, but a good one nonetheless. Buckherry and Shinedown are heading to the Chevrolet Centre along with Avenged Sevenfold and Saving Abel on November 22nd. Tickets are priced at $44.50 for general admission (standing room only) floor and $28-$44.50 for reserved bowl seating. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets and online.

�Josh Cribbs Costume Ball

Eighty81.com presents the third annual Josh Cribbs Costume Ball at House of Blues on Halloween night. (10.31) For the football-impaired, Josh Cribbs is a return man/receiver for our beloved Cleveland Browns. Tickets are priced at $20 and are available only at the door to those 21+ w/ID!! Probably more fun than going to a haunted house.

Switchfoot Comes Alive

Switchfoot is the first notable artist to be added to Alive Music Festival�s lineup. The annual Christian music extravaganza will take place at Clay�s Park & Resort in Canal Fulton, OH June 19th-21st. We�ll have lineup updates and ticket information coming soon.

Dusty Armadillo Country Shows

The Dusty Armadillo in Rootstown welcomes two notable country acts to their club: Eric Church on 11.7 and Chris Cagle on 12.6. Tickets for both shows are priced at $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Tix can be picked up in person at Dusty Armadillo or through the venue�s website.

'Chinese Democracy' - Best Buy Exclusive

Guns N Roses Chinese Democracy Free Dr. Pepper

Hell has frozen over and Mr. Devil is giving out free toboggan rides. 'Chinese Democracy' will finally see the light of day. ~~Axl Rose�s solo album~~ � err the long awaited release from Guns N� Roses will be available exclusively at Best Buy retail stores and Itunes. A release date, cover art, and track listing will be announced in the coming days. We�ll keep you in the loop. Guns N� Roses are expected to tour in 2009. Their last two tours were terminated early with no official reason given.

Not only are free toboggan rides from Lucifer available for all, but a free can of Dr. Pepper as well. The delicious soft drink maker promised a free can to everyone in the United States, except for former GN�R members Slash and Buckethead, if �Chinese Democracy� was leased at any point in 2008. A spokesperson for DP says they are still waiting to hear the album just like everyone else, but that they have the Dr. Pepper on ice.
