2) Four Chord Music Festival | June 22+23 | Pittsburgh, PA | Carrie Furnace
Speaking of Clevelanders hating Pittsburgh (is it really their fault that they have a historically better NFL team?) — the city will host one, but two great festivals in the summer of 2024. The first is Four Chord Music Fest, held on June 22 + 23 at Carrie Furnace. The festival moves to its new location this year, adding an element of “interesting” into the mix!
Day one will be headlined by A Day to Remember and The Story So Far, featuring other acts that include State Champs, Four Year Strong, and Driveways (among several others).
The stage may very collapse on the second day. No matter how well constructed, the weight of all the talent that will be performing upon it may be too much to hold! Day two includes The All-American Rejects, Motion City Soundtrack, Relient K, The Get Up Kids, and People R Ugly (among others!)
Most notably, Andrew McMahon fronted Something Corporate on the bill (following a hilarious tease on their Facebook page the day before the lineup announcement). McMahon has stayed busy with his post-Something Corporate project, Jack’s Mannequin, as well as his solo endeavors, but only a handful of scattered shows have happened for Something Corporate since a brief tour in 2010. THIS. IS. A. BIG DEAL.
A variety of ticket options are available for this festival!
