**UPDATE: EVENT IS CANCELED**

This year is the year of the tornados. For once, this doesn’t have anything to do with global warming.

This year saw the release of Twisters. It’s not a sequel and has only one returning character from the 1996 classic (Think Wizard of Oz). With Twisters creating a storm of tornado-related fandom, many of today’s younger audiences have been, for the first time, introduced to the original Twister. For those who have a 19 in the year of their birth, seeing Twister has brought back some fantastic nostalgia.

The star-studded cast of Twister is met with visual and special effects that still hold up today. One star that has never left our mind is the sensational Helen Hunt. Helen had already won over the hearts of America and then won us over again as Dr. Jo Harding.

On Saturday, September 28th, at the Akron Civic Theatre, movie lovers will have the opportunity to see Twister again on the silver screen. For Helen Hunt lovers (and be honest, who isn’t), Helen will do a Q&A before the film is shown.

Cleverock had the opportunity to chat with Helen, who shared a few behind-the-scenes details about Twister and what to expect for the event.

Please listen to our interview with the gracious Helen Hunt!
