Tristan called in from Aspen, Colorado before the fourth show of her current tour with Radin. Prettyman discusses the wild ride she has had since the release of 2008’s ‘Hello,’ including getting engaged, and eventual ending of her plans for marriage with Jason Mraz.

[box_light]“I got back together with my ex-boyfriend and we were together for about a year, and then, four months later, we got engaged… And then, four months later, got unengaged. And then, all of a sudden, I had a whole lot to write about.”[/box_light]

This is a prominent theme on Prettyman’s upcoming release, ‘Cedar + Gold,’ due out September 25. Listen as Tristan dives into details about specific tracks of her upcoming albums, including the first single, “My Oh My.”

In addition to divulging details about the upcoming ‘Cedar + Gold,’ Tristan provides details of how she kept busy during her hiatus from recording, discusses the obstacle she faced when polyps were discovered on her vocal cords, her life as a surfer model pre-professional musician days, life on tour, and her love for green shakes.
