Wizard World Comic Con returns to Cleveland’s Huntington Convention Center beginning Friday, March 2  and running thru Sunday, March 4!

For the uninitiated, Wizard World Comic Con is a celebration that originally focused on showcasing comic books and related popular arts. Now, the convention has expanded over the years to include a larger range of pop culture elements, such as professional wrestling, science fiction/fantasy, film/television, horror, animation, anime, manga, toys, collectible card games, video games, webcomics, and fantasy novels.

Stan Lee (Marvel Chairman Emeritus) is arguably the biggest draw for this year’s run in Cleveland.  Known to millions as the man whose superheroes propelled Marvel to its preeminent position in the comic book industry, Stan’s co-creations include Spider-Man™, The Incredible Hulk™, X-Men™, The Fantastic Four™, Iron Man,™ and hundreds of others. He introduced Spider-Man™ as a newspaper strip which became the most successful of all syndicated adventure strips having appeared in more than 500 newspapers worldwide. Stan currently remains Chairman Emeritus of Marvel, as well as a member of the Editorial Board of Marvel Comics.

“There is no bigger name in the comics world than Stan Lee, and we couldn’t be happier to have him back at two of our upcoming shows,” said John D. Maatta, Wizard World CEO. “It is truly an experience for fans to meet this legend who has made everything in the industry possible.”

Other top-billed attendees include: David Tennant and Billie Piper (“Doctor Who”), John Barrowman (“Arrow,” “Torchwood”), Ezra Miller (Justice League, Batman vs. Superman), Matt Ryan ( Constantine, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag), Nichelle Nichols (“Star Trek”), Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite, The Benchwarmers), and  James Marsters (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Smallville”).

Also scheduled to appear: to appear to date include Michael Rosenbaum (“Smallville,” “The Justice League”),  Gareth David Lloyd (“Torchwood,” “Dragon Age: Inquisition”), Holly Marie Combs (“Charmed,” “Picket Fences”), Naoko Mori (“Torchwood,” Everest) and Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie…you know…”the guy you f***ed the pie”)

Wizard World Comic Con is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday evening.

—

General admission tickets for the event, which allow access to the main convention floor, all panels (subject to capacity restrictions), and more fun than one can fit into a weekend.

General admission weekend passes are available for $79.95.
Friday only admission: $39.95
Saturday only admission: $49.95
Sunday only admission: $44.95

GA tickets can be purchased: RIGHT HERE!

Be forewarned, if you want an autograph or photo with your favorite star, it’s going to cost you! A complete list of pricing for photo ops can be found RIGHT HERE. Autograph prices: RIGHT HERE.

Important note: An admission ticket is required to redeem your autograph or photo opp.

—

Last year’s edition in Cleveland was a delight for music fans, as iconic Kiss ringleader Gene Simmons was on hand, as were two of the founding members of The Monkeys.

One could argue that Simmons put on one of the most bizarre, must entertaining, and possibly the best panel of last year’s Cleveland WWCC. Gene did not spend but 90 seconds of his panel onstage, choosing instead to walk around the audience and field (as well as ask) questions.
