Alkaline Trio

Windy City pop-punk icons Alkaline Trio will be at The Agora on Friday, March 8! Fronted by one-time Blink-182 member Matt Skiba and rounded out by Dan Andriano and Atom Willard, these gents have been delighting audiences since this 40-year-old preview writer was in high school.

Throughout their career, Alkaline Trio has released ten studio albums, with each one showcasing their evolution as musicians and songwriters. Early releases like “Maybe I’ll Catch Fire” and “Good Mourning” cemented their reputation for crafting sing-along anthems with introspective lyrics, while later albums like “Crimson” and “Agony and Irony” saw them experiment with heavier sounds and more complex arrangements. Despite their genre-bending tendencies, Alkaline Trio has always stayed true to their punk rock roots, delivering energetic live performances that are a testament to their enduring connection with their fans.

Alkaline Trio continues to be a major force in the punk rock scene with a devoted following and a string of critical accolades to their name. Their music has resonated with generations of listeners, offering a soundtrack to the ups and downs of life with raw honesty and infectious energy. As they move forward, Alkaline Trio shows no signs of slowing down, promising to continue delivering the dark melodies and catchy hooks that have made them a punk rock mainstay for over two decades.
