City and Colour

City and Colour is the musical alias of Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green. Known for his emotive vocals, poignant lyrics, and acoustic-driven melodies, City and Colour has garnered acclaim for its introspective and heartfelt approach to folk, indie, and alternative rock music.

Green began his musical journey as a member of the post-hardcore band Alexisonfire before branching out on his own under the moniker City and Colour. His debut album, “Sometimes” (2005), showcased his distinctive blend of soulful vocals and intricate guitar work, earning widespread praise from critics and audiences alike.

Since then, City and Colour has released several albums, including “Bring Me Your Love” (2008), “Little Hell” (2011), “The Hurry and The Harm” (2013), and “If I Should Go Before You” (2015). Each album explores themes of love, loss, and self-discovery, resonating with listeners on a deeply personal level.

Hs is currently on the road in support of his recent release, “THE LOVE STILL HELD ME NEAR.” The album was born out of the most difficult period in Green’s life, including the tragic loss of his best friend in 2019. Green explains, “It’s about digging deep down into yourself and attempting to unearth hope and light in the things that can comfort you through those times. For me that has always been writing and recording music, so that’s exactly what I did.” The depth of Green’s emotions are thoughtfully articulated through these songs in ways that make them so relatable. He continues to solidify the connection with his audience on his seventh album. When you experience a City and Colour performance, that feeling is palpable as fans sing along through the set.
