‘FRENCH PERSPECTIVES’ (Cleveland Orchestra)

Joel Voorman

Popular sister piano duo, Katia and Marielle Labèqu returns to perform work by American composer and guitarist Bryce Dessner, who has won Grammy Awards both as a classical composer and with his band The National, as well as a nomination for his riveting film score to The Revenant.

Bookending this concert are two beloved works rooted in the French tradition: the charming Mother Goose suite and Cesar Franck’s perennially popular — and insistently tuneful —  Symphony in D minor.

The performance will be conducted by Gustavo Gimeno and, of course, feature the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra!
