Cleveland's Music Headliner

Green Day / Smashing Pumpkins

Today is the greatest day I’ve ever known! Two legendary rock bands, Green Day and Smashing Pumpkins, are teaming up for a massive stadium tour! No Cleveland date, so it’s time to hop in the car and make the two-hour drive to Pittsburgh!

The tour will be a larger-than-life, career-spanning celebration of one of the biggest musical acts of all time and some of the most important albums in history. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Green Day’s 1994 certified Diamond album, Dookie, and the 20th anniversary of 2004’s juggernaut, American Idiot. Each a cultural phenomenon in its own right, these albums have remained at the forefront of punk culture since their release. With blazing guitars and electrifying vocals, Green Day are ready to bring their mind-blowing collection of hits to stadiums across the country, along with plenty of additions from their newly announced album, Saviors.

The Smashing Pumpkins broke into the musical mainstream with their second album, 1993’s ‘Siamese Dream.’ The group built its audience with extensive touring and their 1995 follow-up, the double album ‘Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness,’ debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart. With 30 million albums sold worldwide, the Smashing Pumpkins were one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed bands of the 1990s. Smashing Pumpkins are best know for their smash singles “Tonight, Tonight,” Today,” “Ava Adore,” Perfect,” “Disarm,” “1979,” “Bullet with Butterfly Wings,” and about a dozen others!Fans can likely expect the Smashing Pumpkins’ setlists to feature a strong mix of new and old material.
