Human Impact

Joel Voorman

Human Impact will wrap their 2021 tour right here in Cleveland at the Grog Shop on December 11.

It’s shows like this that the Grog Shop is meant to host! Check out the audio in the above video? You can “hear” the stickers on the Grog Shop wall, fell yourself crammed into the tiny bathroom, and smell the beer the drunk dude behind you just spilled on your shoes. This music is EXACTLY what should come to mind when one thinks of the Grog.

The Supergroup, consisting of band members from The Unsane, Cop Shoot Cop, and Swans are on the road in a belated celebration of their March 2020 self-titled debut album. (March 2020…Sound familiar? You may recall hearing something a virus that shut the world down for a year….piss poor timing to release an album!) The record FINALLY gets a proper tour (following proper health & safety protocols, of course).

The 10 track album was met with incredibly critical acclaim:

“it sounds as heavy as a sledgehammer”

Rolling Stone

“one of the best albums of 2020”

Metal Hammer

“noise rock luminaries converge to explore despair and hope”

Chicago Reader

Child Bite will open the show.
