Consisting of Raine Maida, Duncan Coutts, Jason Pierce, and Steve Mazur, Our Lady Peace is one of Canada’s most successful bands. They have toured the world and sold over 5 million albums, won four JUNO Awards and ten Much Music Video Awards.
Let us never forget the Summer of 2002. This preview writer was about to head off to college, but not before catching OLP in the Greater Cleveland Area 3x in one summer (including the album release party for ‘Gravity’ at the Mentor Mall, a performance at X-Fest 2002, and, who could forget the incredible taped-for-MTV concert at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! [Video evidence: RIGHT HERE!] This, of course, followed their sold-out (at $12.50/ticket, mind you) show at The Odeon in 2001, supporting their best work to date, ‘Spiritual Machines‘! It’s surprising that Raine and Duncan didn’t buy homes in Ohio. After an intimate show at The Grog Shop in 2021, OLP is returning to Cleveland in 2023 at the more-appropriately-sized House of Blues.
Somebody alert Greg.
