Composer John Williams

Two performances:
Saturday, September 4 @ 7:00 PM
Sunday, September 5 @ 7:00 PM

**FIREWORKS TO FOLLOW BOTH PERFORMANCES**

The undisputed greatest film score composer of all time, John Williams was scheduled to make a personal appearance at Severance Hall in April 2020 to conduct the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra as they performed selections from his vast catalog. Much like the rest of 2020, the event fell victim to COVID safety protocols.

That will not stop the Cleveland Orchestra from celebrating his music! September 4 & 5 at Blossom Music Center, the Cleveland Orchestra will present a ‘Salute to John Williams,’ where selections from his scores will be celebrated and performed under one of Hollywood’s most sought-after film score conductors, Richard kaufman.

Among Williams most famous scores are Star Wars, E.T., Jurassic Park, Jaws, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Home Alone, Schindler’s List, and many, many more!

Williams has collected five Academy Awards and has been nominated 52 times, second only to Walt Disney for the most nominations of all time.
