FIVE FESTIVALS TO CATCH (WITHOUT LEAVING OHIO)

SONIC TEMPLE (MAY 8 – 11 | HISTORIC CREW STADIUM)

Whatever happened to the adage “save the best for last”? This year’s festival season will go off with a loud BANG when Sonic Temple returns to Historic Crew Stadium from Thursday, May 8 – Sunday, May 11.!

What can be better than Metallica closing out the festival on Sunday? How about Metallica performing a headlining set on Friday, too! Linkin Park (Saturday) and KORN (Thursday) also have headlining slot honors.

Thursday is a great lineup to warm up fans for the weekend ahead, while still saving most of the heavy hitters for the rest of the weekend. Three Days Grace, Filter, Sevendust, Alien Ant Farm, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, and Jinjer are all part of a great opening day.

Friday’s festivities will feature performances from shock rockers Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie, as well as Mastodon, Testament, and White Chapel. (And, did we mention Metallica?)

Saturday’s motto? “No Metallica? No problem? The aforementioned Linking Park (View our past interview with new frontwoman Emily Armstrong from 2013) will be joined by a plethora of CleveRock favorites, including (but certainly not limited to) Incubus, Jimmy Eat World, Escape the Fate, I Prevail, Set It Off, ERA, Invent Animate, Underoath, Silverstein, and I Set My Friends On Fire.

Metallica returns on Sunday and will be joined by friends, including Alice in Chains, Chevelle, Arch Enemy, and Badflower.

Best. Damn. Weekend. Ever.
