A Cleveland New Year’s Eve Celebration!

nye-smallWant to ring in the New Year with the second hottest EDM band in the country alongside the second best host in the history of The Price is Right? Cleveland is hosting what is sure to be one of the hottest second-rate New Year’s parties, featuring a free concert by Krewella, a countdown to 2014 by Cleveland native-son Drew Carey, live ice displays, and more!

Gates open at 6:00pm in Public Square.  Along with Carey and Krewlla, the FREE festival will feature food trucks, the all-important beer garden, live ice sculpting, fireworks, and more!

“Cleveland is home and I can’t imagine a better place to spend the New Year,” said the star of The Drew Carey Show, host of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, and host of The Price is Right. “When I heard what the Ohio Homecoming Group was planning, and that they wanted me to be part of it, my response was ‘hell yeah!’ So I’m happy to layer-up and party on Public Square with my fellow Clevelanders.”

Earlier this year, Krewlla made a big splash in the electronic dance music (EDM) world with the release of their first full-length record, ‘Get Wet,’ the follow up to the group’s breakout EP ‘Play Hard,’ which charted #1 at Beatport and sparked the interest of VEVO, who inducted KREWELLA as their first EDM act in their emerging artist series, LIFT. ‘Get Wet’ includes their two Top 40 radio tracks: the gold-certified song “Alive” (which to date has sold over 700,000 copies) and “Live For The Night,” as well as their breakthrough single “Killin’ It” which garnered the trio their “Best New Artist” award at the IDMA’s earlier this year.

Elegant Ice Creations, who have been providing the WoW factor at parties with ice sculptures since 1991, will be onsite to create the Ice Experience. Come see a block of ice transform right in front of your eyes and for a SPECIAL surprise at Midnight that will be sure to Wow all those in attendance!

Over a dozen food trucks, beer garden, fireworks, and more will round out the entertainment.

The event will be broadcast live throughout Northeast Ohio on CBS Channel 19 Action News from 10:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
