On Friday, May 23, 2025, country music superstar Jason Aldean launched his highly anticipated Full Throttle Tour 2025 at the iconic Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. This opening night of the tour, and second show on Blossom’s summer calendar, set the tone for an electrifying nationwide tour, featuring special guests Nate Smith, RaeLynn, and Dee Jay Silver.

Aldean is celebrating 20 years on the road. He’s certainly no stranger to Blossom. His near-annual appearance is a summertime hit in Northeast Ohio, evidenced by the oh-so-close to a sold-out gig tonight!
The show started out with “Hick Town,” the single that started it all for the country megastar in 2005. Aldean has since been nominated for five Grammys, amassed 27 #1 hits on the Billboard Country Charts,
With his latest release, 2023’s ‘Highway Desperado’ being almost two years old, Aldean noted that it is time to dig a little deeper into his catalog and bring back some of his older hits that fans have grown to know and love over the last two decades, several of which have frequently been omitted from his setlist in recent years.
Aldean’s performance showcased his impressive catalog of hits, including fan favorites like “My Kinda Party,” “Dirt Road Anthem,” and show-closer “She’s Country.”
Midway through Jason Aldean’s electrifying concert, the energy in the venue was undeniable as fans were swept up in his signature blend of country grit and rock swagger. Aldean has built his reputation on powerhouse performances and a no-frills approach to modern country music. On stage, his Southern roots and decades-long career were evident in every guitar riff and gritty vocal, connecting deeply with the crowd.
The production was bold but not overbearing, letting Aldean’s commanding presence and the crowd’s enthusiasm drive the momentum. With the audience fully locked in, it was clear why he remains one of country music’s most consistent arena-fillers.
The setlist also featured his chart-topping single midset, “Try That in a Small Town,” which he performed to an enthusiastic crowd.
Country concerts are a shitshow (meant in an awesome way). The pre-show parking lot parties are almost as enjoyable to fans as the show (despite sheriff deputies selectively enforcing the law prohibiting open containers). For non-party participants, the people watching is equally as fun. {I’m bummed I missed out on the tailgating fun this year!} Once inside the venue, stumbling drunks of all ages mumble the lyrics that they are failing to remember. Absent tonight were the scantily clad women. It’s too freaking cold for tank tops and midriffs.
As the Full Throttle Tour 2025 continues across North America, fans can look forward to a dynamic live experience!
