Up-and-coming pop star Natalie Jane SOLD OUT the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland during her 2025 Sick To My Stomach world tour!
Natalie has amassed over a half-billion streams across popular music platforms before even releasing an LP, on the strength of her popular songs “Ava” and “Sick To My Stomach.”
The songstress checked in via email with Team CleveRock from the road.
CLEVEROCK: Now that your tour has started, How excited are you to be on the road?
NATALIE: I’m so incredibly excited to be on the road. It’s honestly my favorite part of my career. I love being able to meet the fans in person rather than just through my phone.
CLEVEROCK: Are you playing many cities that you haven’t visited before?
NATALIE: All the cities we are performing in America are places I’ve not headlined before. I love going to new cities so it’s amazing that we get to travel like this and explore.
CLEVEROCK: Can you discuss your New Jersey upbringing and whether that has influenced your music career?
NATALIE: Growing up in New Jersey, I would look at the greats that came from there, Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen and so much more. It was also great being so close to New York City. I would go in once a week for my voice lessons and acting classes (back when I thought I wanted to act). Then, later in high school, I would drive into the city after school to do sessions and start writing my own songs.
CLEVEROCK: How would you describe your unique sound to someone unfamiliar with your music?
NATALIE: I would describe my sound as dramatic and sad, but still having a bunch of energy.
CLEVEROCK: Who are your musical influences?
NATALIE: A huge musical influence for me is Billie Eilish. I love that she does whatever she wants. She doesn’t follow any “norms” when it comes to her artistry and creating music and I heavily admire that about her.

CLEVEROCK: If you could jump on a tour with any artist after your European tour concludes), who would you want to be on the road with?
NATALIE: I would 100% hop on the hit me and soft tour with Billie Eilish if that opportunity ever came up.
Ariana Grande is not touring at the moment, but if the opportunity ever came up to open for her, I think I would cry.
CLEVEROCK: You have achieved great success at a relatively young age. Is it difficult to grasp that you were a high school student only a few years ago, are already preparing for a sold-out tour and international shows, and have accumulated hundreds of millions of song streams across popular platforms?
NATALIE: It definitely is weird to think about my success. I think in this industry people don’t often take a step back and look at all they have achieved. It’s always about, what’s next? Where do we go from here? How can we grow even more? I don’t think anybody is ever really satisfied. I am so incredibly grateful and thankful for everything me and my team have built but I still think we have a long way to go.
CLEVEROCK:You have a strong presence on TikTok. The outlet was temporarily shut down last week. How devastating would it be for content creators (specifically musicians) if the platform were to shut down permanently?
Natalie: Thank goodness the platform did not shut down because it is such a crucial role in my career. It is how I share music with fans, it’s how I promote my tours, and it’s how I in general communicate with them. Obviously there are other platforms, which I am also grateful for, but taking out TikTok would definitely have a negative impact.
CLEVEROCK: After your U.S. dates wrap up, you will be busy with an extensive European run through March. Beyond that, what are your future goals and ambitions for the near future?
NATALIE: I’m currently working on my debut album. I’ve been working with a close crew on this project, which is something I have not done before. In the past, I went blindly into sessions with new people to write a song and then maybe it would come out. On this project, we have a clear sonic and visual vision. We want to achieve and I think writing this way is not more fun but more efficient. I’m so excited for people to start hearing the music.
