Rock Hall Inductions date + details announced

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced a new date for the 2021 Inductions Ceremony, which will once again be hosted in Cleveland. The new date is Saturday, October 30!

The ceremony moves to Cleveland’s incredibly renovated Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse (formerly Quicken Loans Arena), from Cleveland Public Hall, which, aside from the venue’s storied history, was somewhat of a poor choice of venue for such a large scale event.

Rock Hall CEO Greg Harris said in a statement, “We are honored to again host the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Cleveland, this year at the newly renovated Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, and to serve as the place for rock & roll fans around the world to connect and celebrate our Inductees all year long.”

Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish adds, “The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a huge asset to the region. The Induction Ceremony creates immediate excitement and economic benefits in terms of supporting jobs and generating new revenue for the region, and the residual benefits live on a lot longer for our community. We look forward to its return and safely celebrating this year’s class.”

The move to ROMOFIHO will allow for a bigger production and, more importantly, increased fan attendance (as long as health orders don’t interfere).

The million dollar question: “How do I get tickets to the event?” Well, hang on to your million bucks for now, you’re going to have to wait a little while longer. However, a little insider tip: For the best (albeit non-guaranteed) shot at scoring tickets, become a member of the Rock Hall no later than Memorial Day to be eligible for a special pre-sale opportunity. Memberships are fantastic, especially for Northeast Ohio residents, and start at only $50! (VIST HERE FOR DETAILS!)

This year’s Nominees include Mary J. Blige, Kate Bush, Devo, Foo Fighters, The Go-Go’s, Iron Maiden, JAY-Z, Chaka Khan, Carole King, Fela Kuti, LL Cool J, New York Dolls, Rage Against the Machine, Todd Rundgren, Tina Turner, and Dionne Warwick.

Fans can vote for their favorite Nominees now through April 30, 2021 at vote.rockhall.com. The top five artists, as selected by the public, will comprise a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots to select the 2021 Inductees will be honored on October 30, 2021 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Inductees will be announced in May 2021.
