It’s been said many times that “Cleveland rocks.” On September 12, Cleveland will Rock the Core. Drink the District, a Washington D.C. based operation, will bring a one-of-a-kind hard cider festival to Voinovich Park. The ticketed event will be divided into two sessions (1-4 pm and 6-9 pm) and will feature tastings of some of the region’s top ciders as well as a host of craft beers!
Cider creations include: Crispin, Smith and Forge, Harpoon , Magners, Redds Apple, Hornsbys Cider, Kentucky Pete’s, Samuel Smith, Woodchuck, Mad Moon, Redheads, Adams Revenge, Griffin Cider Works, Shocktop, Johnny Appleseed, McKenzies Hard Cider, Vandermill, ACE, and Demuncks
Several cideries will feature multiple varieties to choose from.
Breweries that will be onsite: Great Lakes Brewing, New Belgium, Sierra Nevada, Sweetwater, Harpoon, Columbus Brewing Company, Magic HAT, Oskar Blues, Four String, Rivertown, Long trail, Lakefront Brewery, Lazy Magnolia, Brooklyn Brewing Co, Buckeye Brewing, Deschutes, Ithaca, Lagerheads, Lost Coast, Ommegang, Samuel Smith, Smuttynose, Thirsty Dog, Uinta, Victory, 21st Amendment, Anderson Valley, and Stiegl
Rock the Core will also feature some fun lawn games such as corn hole, Giant Sized Jenga and the old party classics, beer pong and flip cup! Live entertainment will be provided throughout the day including DJ’s and a dueling piano outfit.
