Not actual photo of ships coming to ClevelandTall Ships will return to Cleveland in 2019! The magnificent maritime vessels will be on the shores of Cleveland from July 11-14.
In 2018, Tall Ships stopped in Sandusky, but unfortunately, Cleveland was not on the itinerary.
Although few details are known, including festivities that will inevitably surround the event, admission prices, specific ships that will be docking, etc., it should not prevent Clevelanders from adding this event to their summer fun calendar. This event is always a blast. More details will be made available on Monday during a press conference with Cleveland Mayor, Frank Jackson.
The recreated sailing vessels weekend in Cleveland is part of the Tall Ships Challenge Great Lakes. The ships race throughout Lakes Michigan, Huron, Erie, and Ontario, with stops in the United States and Canada.
