Week Long Music Masters Series of Events roll into Cleveland October 22 – 26

The Rolling Stones will be honored at the 18th  annual Music Masters® Series presented by The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Case Western Reserved University. [See Below is a complete list of events taken from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum’s official website.]

Can’t make any of the events? Be sure and check out The Rolling Stones: 50 Years of Satisfaction exhibition opened in May 2013 and celebrates the Rolling Stones’ incredible contribution to popular music. Through the use of artifacts, film, text and interactive technology, generations of music fans from around the world have the opportunity to get up close and personal with rare items from nearly every aspect of the Stones’ extraordinary career. The Rolling Stones: 50 Years of Satisfaction is slated to run until March 2014.

The weeklong series of events:

FREE with RSVP – Tuesday, October 22 at 7 p.m. – Author Series with Bill Janovitz at Cuyahoga Community College’s Tommy LiPuma Center for Creative Arts in the Black Box Theater (adjacent to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Library and Archives, 2809 Woodland Avenue, Cleveland)

FREE with RSVP – Wednesday, October 23 at 4:30 p.m. – Teachers Rock  “Following the River”: Exploring the Roots of the Rolling Stones in the Rock Hall’s “Eat to the Beat” on the 3rd floor.

FREE with RSVP – Wednesday, October 23 at 8 p.m. – Songwriters to Soundmen with Steve Jordan, Bobby Keys and Steve Madaio in the Rock Hall’s Foster Theater on the 4th floor

FREE – Thursday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. – Keynote Lecture by Alan Light at Case Western Reserve University’s Ford Auditorium, 11000 Euclid Ave.

TICKETED EVENT – Saturday, October 26 from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. – Annual Music Masters Conference in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Foster Theater.

TICKETED EVENT – Saturday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m. – Annual Music Masters Tribute Concert at PlayhouseSquare’s State Theatre

LIVE STREAM – Monday, October 21 at 1:00 p.m. – On the Road  “You Got Me Rocking”: The Musical Roots of the Rolling Stones
