Rock on the Range linup announced
It’s here! Rock on the Range, the annual destination festival held in Columbus, OH has unleashed its lineup for the three day festival, scheduled for May 21 – 23 at Mapfre Stadium (home of the Columbus Crew soccer team). The AEG produced festival, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary, has booked its most impressive and diverse lineup to date.
Red Hot Chili Peppers will be the definitive headliner this year. They have toured sparingly since wrapping up their trek in support of their 2011 release, ‘I’m With you.’
Other huge names on the bill include Disturbed, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Megadeth, and A Day to Remember, among several other top billed acts.
This year’s list of performers is sold from top to bottom. After all,
North East Ohio natives Machine Gun Kelley (Cleveland) and Red Sun Rising (Akron) will perform.
A complete lineup can be seen on the poster below, or by visiting http://rockontherange.com/lineup.html
Who plays on which day has not yet been determined (or at least is being kept secret) and will not be announced until much closer to the festival.
Tickets are already on sale. GA field (“floor”) tickets and GA stadium seating are both priced in tiers that will see an increase in price based on certain quantity thresholds being sold. Field tickets range from $199.50 up to $239.50 and GA stadium seating will set you back anywhere between $99.50 and $175. Buy early and save! Tickets can be purchased, here: http://rockontherange.com/tickets_weekend.html
VIP upgrades are also available via the link above. No word yet on if or when single day tickets will be made available.
From humble beginning in 2007 with a one day/two stage show starring headliners ZZ Top, Velvet Revolver, and Evanescence, Rock on the Range has evolved into three day, three stages, and a balls to the walls/no filler lineup. The festival draws rock fans from all over the country and even international fans, making it a true destination festival.
